STEELCASE'S NEXT NATIONAL STUDENT COMPETITION

Selected by jurors to represent Anderson University's Interior Design Program in national competition.

NEXT, a commercial real estate and project management firm, has expanded to a new location in Denver CO. By including a variety of different workspaces, employees are able to stay focused and productive. The new technology that will be included in the office will provide the employees with a way to test their ideas and help clients visualize an idea. The term biophilia, or our desire as humans to be connected with nature, inspired the overall design of this workspace. A study found that levels of wellbeing and productivity increase by 13 percent in environments containing natural elements. By incorporating organic elements, natural light, and calm and energizing colors into the design, we are creating an environment that will keep employees both productive and creative.
