HOSPITALITY PROJECT
La Rosa City Club
Designs by Joye has been commissioned to design the interiors of the La Rosa City Club, for international businessmen and women. La Rosa is located on the top level of the Generali Tower in Milan, Italy. The spaces to be designed include the reception area, president’s dining room, bar and lounge, member’s suite and member’s apartment.
With the fashion industry being so prominent in Milan, the design of the city club will incorporate avante garde elements combined with the romantic elegance of the Fair of Flowers Festival. Some avante garde elements include artistic ceiling features, unique finishes and dynamic patterns. Elegance is accomplished through the incorporation of high-end finishes and the colors black, white and rose gold throughout the entire design.
The unique spiral shape of the Generali Tower and the dynamic, curved form of the Vanke Pavilion, an image gallery in Milan, create the illusion of movement, and this acts as another element of inspiration for the design of the celling features included in La Rosa.

Branding
The city club’s name, La Rosa, which means the rose, is inspired by Milan’s Fair of Flowers Festival where florists show off their bouquets of flowers in the Naviglio, Grande. The name is meant to energize and inspire those who enter the city club and connect them with the local culture.
